Famous picture - as a proof, that we have been to the heart of the desert - Alice Springs. It's been taken at departure of the city, we had had to turn back on the road… It was so hot, that petrol frightened whistled through the plug, as it evaporated in the heat. We kept speed under 70-80 kms/h to spare cooling system. May be due to these preventive safety measures, Lady B survived, even though most of the cars overtook us easily on 2.000 kms long Stuart highway through the middle of the desert.
